Rate & Service Schedule
The agency rate applies where the client is a translation company or language service provider carrying out its own project management and quality assurance. The direct rate applies to every other client and reflects the additional work of intake, scoping, correspondence, and collection.
All amounts are in Canadian dollars. Clients outside Canada are quoted and invoiced in Canadian dollars; your own bank converts at its rate on the day you pay.

Where the source is electronically countable, the count comes from the source. Where it is a photograph, a scan, or handwriting, the count comes from the finished English text and the surcharge applies — stated in advance, in the Terms and again in the Quotation, so it is a term of the contract rather than an argument at invoice time.
No GST/HST is charged; the translator is not registered. Rates are held in a schedule versioned separately from the contract, so a revision does not reopen the terms. The schedule in force at the date of your quotation is the one that governs.
