Source material, translations, and client information are kept confidential and are not disclosed except as required by law, or to a reviser or subcontractor bound by equivalent obligations, and then only with the client’s prior written consent.

What the encryption covers
Documents sent to me arrive in a Swiss mailbox with zero-access encryption, which protects them once they are here. Mail from an ordinary provider is not end-to-end encrypted on the way, and no compliance certification of any kind is claimed: no ISO, no SOC 2, no HIPAA, no PIPEDA compliance statement.
Clause 12 of the Standard Terms of Service, supplied with every quotation, states all of the above in the form that binds.
